There are so many choices in East county for excellent top of the line Mexican food, I've lived 2 miles from rosarito's taco shop in lakeside for almost nine years and I've never been there because there are about seven other taco shops closer to Central El cajon, So I decided to give it a try and so far the food is five star because you really have to go out of your way to mess up Mexican food in San Diego in my opinion so they always get five stars I only give less if the service and food is just garbage, So, so far so good I had three chicken rolled tacos and two beef tacos, for some reason the photos I took of the chicken rolled tacos did not come out as clear as I would like so I will update the photos later, but trust me there is plenty of chicken in them and the tortillas are nice and crunchy, The green and red sauces were pretty par with most green and red sauces around El cajon I would say they are slightly on the spicy side compared to other ones I have had, but still fresh, good, and flavorful,

I stop here any time Im close. The team here has always been very friendly and the food is probably your best bang for the buck. Great food, big portions and reasonably priced!

I just had the most mouthwatering asada fries, and let me tell you, they were the crispiest I've ever tasted!

This is by far the best Mexican I have ever had!!!! Can't say enough about it. SO FRESH, EVERYTHING WAS HOMEMADE! My wife even liked her chicken quesadilla saying it was fabulous! So much food, great price and so clean BEEF CHIMI WAS OFF THE CHARTS!

Some of the best chips we've had, and that's even before we even got our food. The chimichanga is top notch and their tacos are so good, they don't even need a Tuesday push. Oh, and their horchata was delicious too!
